Wayne Williams has extensive hospitality industry experience including pre-opening, opening, and
management of first-class hotels and resorts, as well as thorough operations, development, and
owner liaison experience.
Prior to joining Warnick + Company, Wayne was President of Williams & Associates, LLC,
which he formed in 1989 to provide consulting and asset management services for owners of Pacific
Rim Hotels and Resorts.
His clients have included Mellon Bank, Wells Fargo Bank, Kintetsu Corporation (U.S. and Japan),
Koreana Hotels (U.S. and Korea), Ritz-Carlton Hotels, and the state of California, overseeing more
than $250 Million in hotel acquisitions and dispositions.
His prior experience includes 10 years as a general manager with Hyatt Hotels in Atlanta, Monterey,
Albany, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Honolulu, where he opened the 1,160-room Hyatt Regency
Waikiki. In addition, he served as a Vice President of Sheraton Corporation in Los Angeles and ran
his own real estate development and brokerage company in Hawaii.
Wayne is President of the Hospitality Asset Managers Association (HAMA), a member of
the International Society of Hospitality Consultants (ISHC), and holds real estate brokerage
licenses in Hawaii and California. He also holds Mediation, Arbitration, and Issue Review Board
Certifications.
