Arne Gustafson specializes in asset management and operational consulting services with an emphasis on food and beverage.

Arne started his hospitality career in the restaurant industry and has ten years of varied operational experience. He spent nine years working for Pannell Kerr Forster, managing the consulting practice in their Phoenix office and was the in-house asset manager for a partnership that owned hotel assets. Arne started his own consulting practice, specializing in asset management, in 1994.

In the conduct of his asset management assignments, Arne has played a number of roles. In addition to traditional oversight responsibilities, he has managed projects through the pre-opening process; assisted in the negotiation of management, franchise, and loan agreements; and coordinated the sale of several properties on behalf of the owner. He has also been involved in hotel restructurings and a hotel bankruptcy.

Warnick + Company uses a "team approach" in its asset management engagements. While all asset managers track financial metrics and act as a liaison between the owner and manager, Warnick + Company professionals have the practical, hospitality experience to work directly with management to develop and implement strategies that balance short and long-term objectives and thereby maximize hotel asset values. Arne actively participates with hotel owners and managers by providing advice on a range of issues including sales and marketing, revenue management, product positioning, renovation, and general operations. In the current recession, Arne has been very active in the development of cost containment strategies that deal with the downward revenue trends that most hotels are experiencing.

Arne graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Administration from Washington State University. He is a member and Chairman Emeritus of the International Society of Hospitality Consultants (ISHC), an invitation-only society comprised of prominent hospitality consultants from around the world.
