Real Estate since their acquisition of the Art Deco landmark in late 2006. Rezoning of the property was
completed in mid 2007, allowing for the improvements program to proceed or a fully transient hotel. Located
one block north of the United Nations on First Avenue in Manhattan, Beekman Tower Hotel will be
repositioned as a four star independent boutique with the addition of 39 additional keys, to a total of
211 guestrooms and suites, expanded public areas, and three new destination food and beverage venues.
W+C has worked with the Owner from pre-purchase due diligence, through design and permitting, and assisting
in keeping the asset operational throughout once construction begins, currently scheduled for mid 2009.
