Warnick + Company has served as development advisor and project manager for Peninsula Real Estate since their acquisition of the Art Deco landmark in late 2006. Rezoning of the property was completed in mid 2007, allowing for the improvements program to proceed or a fully transient hotel. Located one block north of the United Nations on First Avenue in Manhattan, Beekman Tower Hotel will be repositioned as a four star independent boutique with the addition of 39 additional keys, to a total of 211 guestrooms and suites, expanded public areas, and three new destination food and beverage venues. W+C has worked with the Owner from pre-purchase due diligence, through design and permitting, and assisting in keeping the asset operational throughout once construction begins, currently scheduled for mid 2009.
