Chad Sorensen is a Principal and Managing Director of Warnick + Company (Minnesota), LLC overseeing the Minneapolis and Chicago offices. He specializes in asset management, process improvement, and operational enhancement advisory services for hotel, resort, and casino properties.
Through his years of experience with leading hospitality organizations, and providing consulting services and asset oversight, he has become an industry leader in providing strategic guidance and developing and implementing best-in-class operating platforms for clients ranging from independent owner’s through institutional investors.
Chad's proven success is based on an approach that is focused on delivering sustainable solutions that create both immediate and long term value for clients. His portfolio of past and present engagements includes premiere destination resorts, upscale and luxury urban properties, convention hotels and casinos. His depth of experience represents both independent properties and almost every major lodging brand.
Previously Chad was the President of Hospitality Advisory Group, Inc. after holding a senior leadership position with Ernst & Young LLP within their Hospitality Advisory Services group. He initially gained his hotel and resort operational experience with Hyatt Hotels & Resorts and Hilton Worldwide.
Chad holds a Masters of Business Administration degree, with a dual emphasis in Finance and Management, from The University of Illinois and a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management from Iowa State University. He is an active member of the International Society of Hospitality Consultants (ISHC), an invitation-only society comprised of prominent hospitality consultants from around the world.
